ADR- Drivers of Vehicles Carrying Dangerous Goods by Road
NOTE: You can now register attendance on an ADR Course to count toward your driver cpc periodic training. 7 hours on a refresher course, 21 hours on an initial course Contact your local centre for details.
Drivers carrying dangerous goods in scope of the dangerous goods regulations/ADR are required to carry with them, an ADR Certificate to be produced on request at the roadside, by an enforcing officer.
This Vocational Training Certificate issued by DVLA can only be obtained by attending a Department for Transport approved training course and passing the relevant exams,
set by the exam body Scottish Qualifications Authority for the type of vehicle and class of goods they are carrying.
These courses can be conducted at an on site location, although a visit to the location would be required, as the location would have to meet quite strict SQA criteria.
HARGREAVES TRAINING are an approved training provider, and a member of the National Dangerous Goods Training Consortium.
Please note: It is required that you will have to produce your driving licence, and photographic ID (if you do not have a photo licence) at the start of the course)
