The employee will enrol onto a Level 2 NVQ Driving Goods Vehicles in addition to practical LGV driving tuition. The employee follows a structured training programme and driving skills are regularly assessed. 

 

As a part of the scheme a written agreement must be made between the employee, the employer and the Approved Training Organisation (ATO) explaining the training plan and setting out the obligations and responsibilities of each party.



Comprehensive Training Including:

  • Full Class C Licence (with the possibility of gaining Class C + E)
  • Theory Training
  • NVQ Level 2 in Driving Goods Vehicles
  • Regular Driving Assessments
  • Key Skills Certificate Level 1 in the Application of Number and Communications


Eligibility Criteria

Candidates Must Be:

  • Aged 17 1/2 - 24 
  • Hold a current, clean Class B (car) licence
  • Must be working
  • Willing and able to attend key skills, technical and driver training
  • Committed to gaining the award
