Learndirect

Hargreaves offers discounted RTITB FLT training through learndirect.

The learning programme is free to those claiming Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) or another qualifying benefit, for the employed the course carries a charge.

All candidates will be required to undertake a tailored learning programme incorporating various learndirect courses with subject areas including Basic Skills, ICT and Productivity & Team Management.

There is also the opportunity for candidates to undertake the tests for the nationally recognised Certificates in Adult Literacy and/or Numeracy qualifications.

 Upon completion of all necessary courses, candidates can then progress to the practical FLT course.

All candidates should be aware that the courses will require a considerable time commitment from the learner.

Candidates can receive both counterbalance and reach truck training after an additional fastrack learning programme is completed.

Comprehensive Training Including:

  • A tailored learndirect learning programme
  • Opportunity to gain the Certificates in Adult Literacy and/or Numeracy
  • Jobsearch skills (for the unemployed only)
  • FLT Practical tuition on either a counterbalance or reach truck
  • Novice, Experienced and Conversion courses available

 

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be:

  • Unemployed or working for an SME (Small to Medium Enterprise - fewer than 250 employees)
  • Aged 17+
  • Be able to prove employment status and home address
