Managing Safely Programme - Four Day Course
The IOSH Managing Safely course is designed for Managers and Supervisors who manage risk within their own organisation. The course will thoroughly prepare the candidate through a series of course based lectures and confirmatory assignments leading to a nationally recognised qualification as the final outcome.
Course Content:
After successful completion of the course the candidate will be able to:
1 Understand & explain the term ‘Working Safely'
2 Understand & explain the relevant parts of a recognised Safety Management System
3 Explain the procedure required to carry out Accident / Incident investigation
4 Carryout basic Trends Analysis
5 Understand & Interpret the ‘Hierarchy of Control'
6 Carry out Re-active & Pro-active monitoring
7 Have a detailed knowledge of the ‘Health & Safety at Work act 1974'
8 Advise on Health & Safety legislation giving direction on reputable information & guidance.
Lunch and all-day refreshments are included for all candidates on this course.
