CIEH LEVEL 2 AWARD IN PRINCIPLES OF COSHH
This course is provided by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health who are a professional awarding and campaigning body at the forefront of Environmental and Public Health and Safety.
After successful completion of the course the candidate will be able to:
1. Recognise and understand Hazardous Substances
2. Implement a regime of controls of substances hazardous to health
3. Understand the effects on health & the human factors in relation to COSHH
4. Identify warning symbols, exposure limits & understand safety data sheets
5. Understand and implement the Hierarchy of Control to aid in the protection of workers using substances that may be hazardous to health
