Learndirect Packages

Hargreaves offers subsidised accredited ‘Blended Learning Package' including FLT and CSCS Cards. These programmes are free to those claiming Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) or any other qualifying benefit, but there is a charge involved for those in employment or in receipt of non-eligible benefits.

All candidates will be required to undertake a tailored learning programme incorporating various Learndirect courses with subject areas including Skills for Life and/or ICT. There is also the opportunity for candidates to work towards and sit the tests for the National Certificates in Adult Literacy and/or Numeracy qualifications at Entry Level, Level 1 and/or Level 2 as well as the European Computer Driving License (ECDL).

All candidates should be aware that the courses will require a considerable time commitment from the learner and the duration of learning is dependent on regular attendance and/or course access as well as individual progression.

Upon completion of all necessary courses, candidates can then progress to the practical FLT course; either Counterbalance or Reach depending on availability. Candidates may be given the opportunity to work towards obtaining both FLT licenses after an additional fast-track learning programme is completed.
