SKILLS PLEDGE

What is the Skills Pledge?

The Skills Pledge is a voluntary, public commitment by the leadership of a company or organisation to support its employees to develop their basic skills, including literacy and numeracy and work towards relevant, valuable qualifications to at least Level 2 (equivalent to 5 good GCSE’s). The purpose is to ensure that all staff are skilled, competent and able to make a full contribution to the success of the company/organisation.

Here at Hargreaves Training Services we signed up to the Skills Pledge in May 2009 to make a public statement to demonstrate our commitment to:

  • Actively encouraging and supporting our employees to gain the skills and qualifications that will meet the needs of our business and will support their own future employability
  • Raise our employees skills and competencies to improve our organisational performance through investing in valuable training and development

What does this mean to you?

The assurance that staff delivering our services are qualified, experienced and competent in what they do enabling you, our clients, to obtain maximum benefit from your training and achieving value for money.
